Biographical Note

Born in 1889 near Riga, Mr. Feinberg came to the U.S. in 1908 and to Seattle in 1910. In 1911, he began working in produce in Pike Place Market, and opened his own business (with Nathan Katz) in 1913. He operated this business until 1965.

Scope and Content

Tape-recorded interview conducted by Karyl Winn and Jeanette Schreiber on 25 Febr 1971 and covering the period 1908-1965.

Mr Feinberg owned a produce business in Pike Place Market from 1913-1965.
