Biographical Note

Halliday served as Chair of The Mountaineers Conservation Division and vice-president of the Federation of Western Outdoor Clubs and of the North Cascades Conservation Council. He served as conservationist representative on a subcommittee of the Governor's Committee on the North Cascades.
