The whole purpose of this dissertation is to demonstrate how essential it is to pursue physiologically based music-making. To this end, it provides essential points about sitting-balance, presents anatomical information about the whole arm, as well as summarizes Body Mapping and, finally, evaluates the four most-practiced piano techniques of students ages six to twenty-eight.
