Proceedings from the University of Washington School of Oceanography Undergraduate Thesis Research Expedition to Glacier Bay Alaska, March 2008. 296pp.http://hdl.handle.net/1773/3751The relationship between marine geology and marine chemistry was explored in Glacier Bay by correlating sediment grain size to particulate organic carbon (POC.) Marine and alpine glaciers produce sediment in the bay. It was hypothesized that sediment from alpine glaciers would hold higher concentrations of POC because of finer grain size.en-USMarine sediments--Alaska--Glacier BaySedimentation analysisRelationships of fine-grained glacial sediment and total organic carbon in Glacier Bay, AlaskaOther
