The primary goal was to determine how the freshwater from Alberni and Effingham Inlets exit Barkley Sound into the Pacific Ocean. Understanding the circulation of the Sound is important for many reasons, among them, the need for biologists to account for the effects of environment on organisms.en-USEstuarine oceanography -- British Columbia -- Barkley SoundOceanic mixingHydrographic surveyingEstuarine circulation in Barkley Sound; observed characteristics and processesOther
