With the world tourism industry expected to reach 1.5 billion travelers by 2020, the reuse of the resort typology is becoming more prevalent. The all-inclusive resort is one that includes all amenities for the tourist under one roof, for a set price. However, this model often excludes the experience of the local people and culture and displaces them in their own country.
