This document presents the results of the research on public access to information and communication in Ecuador. Through the research we identified main venues used by the population to access information and communication and could characterized why, how and by whom they are used. This section presents a summary of research results. Following subsection includes general information on the country and about access to information and ICT in Ecuador. Then methodology of this research is explained. After that it introduces aspects of information needs of underserved communities and venues characteristics. Finally, it brings salient findings and key recommendations.
