This is an extraordinary collection of digitized photographs, slides, and fieldnotes created by Charles F. Keyes and E. Jane Keyes while they conducted fieldwork in Thailand in the 1960s. Fieldwork was conducted primarily in rural areas in Mahasarakham and Mae Hong Son provinces, although there are some photographic scenes and fieldnotes from Bangkok and other locations.

Access to low resolution versions of some images will be available to the public via the Internet. For access to field notes and other restricted files, please contact University of Washington Libraries, Special Collections, regarding collection number 4120-XXX.
