(2) What social, cultural, and family influences have helped shape their (participants') perceptions on schooling and learning environments? (3)What school policies and practices affect the learning environments for Latino students and how do they perceive them? (4) How have their perceptions of schooling affected or not affected their self identify formation? (5) What suggestions do the participants have on how to improve Latino academic achievement in their school?
