Abstract
Load forecasting requires hourly temperature estimates in order to better estimate energy demand. This memo describes the bias-correction approach used to develop new dynamically-downscaled projections of historical and future hourly temperatures at SeaTac. The purpose of this memo is two-fold:
1. Describe the general approach to bias correcting all WRF hourly temperatures, and
2. Describe the additional bias-correction applied to correct for anomalous cold snaps.
