Dreams are fragile. However, that does not stop people from chasing after them. What if, halfway through the chase, you realize there are so many dominating forces, internal and external, that steer you away from your dreams? Do you let the dreams die or find alternatives? What does it take to keep going? A Promise: A Celebration of Keeping Dreams Alive Through Dance and Theater asks the audience to investigate, from the moment their dreams first formed, how their relationships to their dreams have changed, how far they have come, and how far they are willing to pursue. At the same time, this performance also pays tribute to the people who have supported us along this harsh journey to our dreams.
