Dahlia is a solo performance piece about a young woman’s journey for self-advocacy in the face of systemic and institutional sexism, under the guise of a doctor’s appointment. This story derives from the universal experience of individuals who are assigned female at birth (AFAB) who seek out help when in need of medical assistance or guidance and what happens when doctors don’t take their patients seriously.
