School district reorganization in Polk County, Oregon

Abstract

In the United States modern transportation facilities and other social and economic factors are tending to make obsolescent multitudinous small school administrative units. Several of the states have been experimenting with legislation which will bring about a reorganization and consolidation of school districts on a sounder basis.
