Abstract
On April 20, 2007, the Washington State Legislature mandated the preparation of a comprehensive assessment of the impacts of climate change on the State of Washington. The assessment was to be focused on the impacts of global warming generally, and specifically in relation to: public health, agriculture (partner: WSU), the coastal zone, forestry, infrastructure (specifically stormwater), water supply and management (partner: PNNL), salmon and ecosystems, and energy. Lettenmaier will describe the work of the University of Washington Climate Impacts Group.
