Dissolved oxygen was measured at many stations in Glacier Bay. The purpose was to isolate the source of deep water renewal in the bay, and also to add to datasets of oceanographic observations. Glacier Bay is shallow silled, and light water spills over into the bay from Icy Strait, renewing the deep water.en
