| dc.description.abstract | The United States has long been involved in outer space exploration and innovation, acting as a world leader in these domains. Currently, orbital debris poses a significant threat to the future of the US presence in space and thus is an issue that must be addressed with a coordinated national response. In the following report we will be introducing the issue posed by orbital debris and how this pertains to a larger institutional problem. We will then recommend an integrated policy recommendation comprised of public, private, and educational sectors which follow a three-tier system. | |
