The Model for Aeroelastic Response to Gust Excitation II (MARGE-II) was developed to improve on the existing MARGE-I wind tunnel model’s capabilities to demonstrate and evaluate active control techniques on a flexible aircraft model. The model has been designed for use in the University of Washington’s 3’ x 3’ low-speed wind tunnel located adjacent to the Kirsten Wind Tunnel at the University of Washington. This thesis details the design and fabrication of the model as well as exploratory test results from a tunnel entry in the summer of 2025.
