Abstract

Palmer will lay out the goals of this talk: 1. Provide accurate estimates of regional water supply and demand for planning. 2. Establish the need to include climate change in regional water supply planning. 3. Shift a planning paradigm through consensus. He will discuss evaluating the regional water supply, and provide an overview of regional water supply planning in the Puget Sound. He will review previous studies and talk about the need for consensus. Finally, he will identify building blocks to guide future planning efforts.
