Nonpoint Source Pollution Programs: Research About Landowner Psychology & Actions

Abstract

This fact sheet describes the results of a research project looking into intervention programs and how they can encourage adoption of behavior changes to accomplish specific water quality objectives. Invervention programs are reviewed, and landowner motivations and satisfactions are quantified. Program planning suggestions are presented.
