Baker will begin by describing the Center for Urban Waters, a collaboration between the City of Tacoma, the UW Tacoma, and the Puget Sound Partnership. The focus of the collaboration is to restore Puget Sound and mitigate impacts in the urbanized environment. He will move on to discuss chemical classes and flame retardant chemicals. In particular, he will outline polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) exposures and accumulations, and the effects on humans and wildlife.en_US
