This project considers my female lineage and my practice of Christian Science as it affects the way I practice feminism and express femininity. I analyze the relationships between media culture, body image, spirituality, family, and language as it relates to my personal experience as a woman in Western society. Writings by Flannery O’Connor, Virginia Woolf, and Mary Baker Eddy are referenced as they resonate with my own work and support my quest to define and redefine feminism and femininity for myself.en_US
