Research shows a strong support to develop more effective transitions to ensure continuity between schools but little agreement on exactly what transition strategies to implement to promote success. The purpose of this study was to study the effectiveness of using All About Me Books as a high-intensity and person-centered strategy for children with and without special needs transitioning from preschool to kindergarten or kindergarten to first grade based on teacher and family input. The results of this small-scale mixed quantitative and qualitative study demonstrated that All About Me Books were effective in supporting the children, families, and teachers involved to have a successful transition process.en_US
