Abstract

Believer by Believer is a collection of lyric poems obsessed with descriptive detail and what it can reveal about the whole, enamored with the materials we use to build our lives, and captivated by sensual pleasure and pain. They're tense with the tug of war between fear and desire, and in hot pursuit of the poetic economy created when the imagined rubs up against the actual.
