dc.description.abstractAs information and communication technologies (ICT) increasingly penetrate different economic sectors, disadvantaged groups have more opportunities to participate. For disadvantaged youth, ICT training can help expand employment opportunities. This study seeks to analyze ICT training as a strategy for incorporating disadvantaged youth into the economy. To this end, we analyzed youth training programs at centers run by NGOs in three Latin American countries: Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico.
