Dataset to support the paper: Temperature Control of the Variability of Tropical Tropopause Layer Cirrus Clouds

Abstract

Cirrus cloud fraction from CALIPSO satellite data from the NASA Langley Research Center Atmospheric Sciences Data Center. The temperature profile from COSMIC data obtained through the COSMIC Data Analysis and Archive Center, operated by UCAR/COSMIC program. The ENSO index is from the NOAA Climate Prediction Center. The QBO dataset is from department of Earth sciences of the Freie Universität Berlin. The BDC index that calculated from the ERA-interim data is from European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts.
