Pacific Northwest Climate Change: Do Global Models Tell the Whole Story?

Abstract

Salathé will review modeled scenarios for Pacific Northwest climate change. He will discuss how the models are developed, and what they predict for the Puget Sound region: more rain and higher winter temperatures. He will conclude by describing some of the limitations of the global models.
