Abstract

India has a long History of the social caste system. While officially abolished, its influence persists, shaping access to education, jobs, and social mobility. Those from lower castes face systemic discrimination, effecting their daily lives and mental health. This issue is deeply embedded in the culture and is less acknowledged.
