Above the Dam: Salmon Colonization of New Habitat

Abstract

Anderson will discuss salmon colonization. He will define homing versus straying, and review the history of salmon colonization. He will describe a project to pass salmon above Landsburg Dam in Washington State. This study used radio telemetry to record colonist exploration and identify spawning sites.
