Soils for Salmon - The Relationship Between Soil and Water

Abstract

Soil degradation and water pollution are widely recognized as major environmental problems. Less widely recognized is that soil and water are interconnected. Soils for Salmon is a project promoting the conservation of native soils and improvement of disturbed soils. Soils for Salmon supports salmon and other species recovery and is consistent with many other efforts to minimize the human impact on the natural environment.
