dc.description.abstractMr. Om Rasady was a member of parliament. He was gunned down by unknown assailants in broad daylight in Phnom Penh. IRI called his murder "a tragic loss for the cause of democracy" and said it "had a chiling effect on the political climate in Cambodia."
