The Dynamics of the Unitary Fermi Gas

Abstract

This dissertation is concerned with the dynamics of dilute Fermi gases in the unitary regime with short-range interaction and infinite scattering length. This work represents the first ab- initio simulation of quantized vortex generation and domain walls generation. In addition, the interaction of quantized vortices and domain walls are investigated.
