Abstract

This study examined the relationship between speaker and listener judgments of speech acceptability and effort with voice-related quality of life in tracheoesophageal speech. Tracheoesophageal speakers made recordings and completed QOL measures. Speakers and listeners judged vocal effort and acceptability. Results will reveal relationships among measures and have implications for rehabilitation.
