Mental illness is a hurricane: It has no mercy; it takes no prisoners. When you’re in it, there’s nothing else to think of other than survival. The rain beats down on you; the winds are unceasing. But what of when it’s over? When the sun comes out and the gale settles, the wreckage still remains. You’re left on your own to pick up the pieces. What lies beyond the storm?
