This study examined the bedform of the Rumble III and Brothers volcanoes in the Kermadec Arc to determine the current current velocity and direction. A WHOI TowCam was used to observe the pattern of sediment ripples. More asymmetrical ripples indicate that the current is more often unidirectional. Data obtained from satellite altimetry and from acoutsic doppler current profiler had similar, confirmatory findings.en_US
