Abstract

The development of targeted drug delivery platforms is often limited by one or two programmed stimuli responsive release triggers. Many delivery platforms are further limited by the size exclusion of their networks for how small a therapeutic can be delivered efficiently. The utilization and modification of peptide based tethers affords the opportunity to program the release of a small-molecule therapeutics in response to a wide variety of desired environmental cues. This work uses a small-molecule fluorescent reporter to show how three environmental cues can be programmed with Boolean logic to affect a customizable release of a covalently linked therapeutic.
