The topic of this paper is about the confluence of Sarit Thanarat and the military, King Bhumibol Adulyadej and the monarchy and the United States during the years of 1957 to 1963 in influencing and changing Thai politics. The coups of 1957 and 1958 brought the three parties together in a marriage of convenience. Then in six short years the triple partnership cemented. The final result was a military-monarchy alliance that has endured until today.en_US
