| dc.description.abstract | Steinemann will discuss the challenges of water management. She will describe four case studies, each in three parts (problem, project, lessons): 1. Interstate/State (ACT-ACF “Tri-State” Water Wars). 2. State/Regional (Georgia Drought Plan). 3. Regional/Local (Lake Lanier Watershed Management). 4. Classroom/Community (Water Resources/Sustainability). She will wrap up by outlining opportunities and visions for the center: its strengths and comparative advantages, sustaining and building upon those strengths, and goals, activities, and future directions. | en_US |
