The Newbook Digital Texts Project

Directed by scholars, we are an independent publishing house dedicated to enabling scholars to make lesser known or understudied literary, historical, and primary texts available quickly and affordably to a wide range of audiences, from specialists to general readers. Our goal is to blend traditional humanities scholarship with dynamic, collaborative, digitally based publishing, and support open access to our texts and technology. All of our materials are available free online, and available for e-readers and print-on-demand.

News The Svoboda Diaries Project was recently granted a Library Acquisitions Grant from the Institute of Turkish Studies in order to archive the work papers of Margaret Makiya. You can view the collection here.
