Abstract

It is with considerable pleasure that we present the Summer Quarter 2012 GIS Workshop reports from our inaugural class of the Professional Master’s Program in GIS (PMP-GIS) for Sustainability Management at the University of Washington. The successes of the 2012 PMP-GIS Workshop were due entirely to the efforts of a very unique and memorable group that we grew to learn possessed a remarkable depth of professional experience and as well as genuine intellectual curiosity about how to use sustainability information science for sustainability management.
