dc.description.abstractOut of the many standards that are placed among Cambodian women, the feminine beauty ideal has played a significant part in how they are treated. As a Khmer woman myself, I created this poster to bring awareness of the beauty standards enforced on Khmer women, the origins of colorism in Cambodia, and the negative impact whitening creams have on those who resort to lightening products to achieve white skin.
