| dc.description.abstract | In honor of Beatrice Harrison, who was a great cellist of 100 years ago, and the favorite cellist of one of my favorite composers, Edward Elgar, I composed a duet for cello and birdsong. I also researched about her life as a cellist, as a muse and her very popular 1924 BBC Broadcast of cello and nightingale recorded in her garden outside London, which has recently been disputed by many journalists. | |
