A course of study in health education for the mentally deficient boy of high school and junior high school age
Abstract
The public schools of the United States have become health conscious. The need for accurate health information has been recognized in nearly all schools at the present time by the inclusion of this subject in the curriculum. State and local courses of study have been forthcoming from every section of the country. Health teaching is now offered almost universally from the grades up through the university. Dr. Draper, in his survey of sixty-five school systems, ranked health second only to English in the number of times it appears in all curriculums.
